Q - How do I buy from Dancewear2U?

A - Making a purchase from Dancewear2U could not be easier! Browse our catalogue and add the items you wish to buy to your shopping basket. When you have finished shopping click on Checkout and you will be asked for the details we need to complete your order.


Q - How do I pay for my order?

A - Payment is accepted by any of the cards shown at the bottom of the page. We require that you pay in full at point of order. Our online payment is powered by Worldpay, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, which provides safe and secure online payment facilities for our site.


Q - Can I order over the phone?

A - Although the primary way to order is via the website, we can accept orders over the phone.  Please call us.


Q - Can I pay for my order by cheque?

A - Although the primary way to place and pay for orders is via our website, in some cases , we can accept payment by cheque.  If you wish to pay by cheque then please contact us.


Q - Is there are minimum order requirement?

A - No, there is no minimum order requirement.


Q - Do you give discounts on bulk orders?

A - As our prices are already low, we do not give discounts on bulk orders.


Q - I can't find the product I'm looking for.

A - If you can't see the item you are looking for please e-mail us at or use the online contact form for assistance. Even if the item you're looking for is not listed in our online catalogue we may still be able supply it. E-mail us and tell us exactly what you're looking for. We'll then investigate your enquiry and let you know if we can get it and if so how much it will be.


Delivery Questions

Q - How much is delivery?

A - UK delivery is FREE.  Orders are sent by First Class Post.


Q - Do you deliver outside the UK?

A - At the moment we only deliver within the UK.


Q - When will I receive my order?

A - You will be notified by e-mail when your order has been dispatched.  Orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class post.  Royal Mail estimates 1-2 days delivery for First Class post, but this is not guaranteed.


Q - I have not received my order, what shall I do?

A -

  1. Our orders are sent by First Class post.  Royal Mail estimates 1-2 days delivery for First Class post but occasionally some orders do take a little longer to arrive so please be patient.
  2. Check the hiding places around your home where a parcel may have been left.  Occasionally parcels are left without a card alerting the recipient.
  3. Check with your local delivery office or post office i.e. where parcels are usually returned when they can't be delivered.  Occasionally parcels are returned to the delivery/post office without a card being left to alert the recipient.
  4. Contact us.  Please remember to state your name and order number.


Q - How will my order be packaged?

A - Are orders are sent in grey mails sacks.  A Dancewear2U return address label is applied to the back of the package.  If you do not want the Dancewear2U name to be visible e.g. you are buying a present for someone who lives with you, then please let us know and we will remove the Dancewear2U name from the label and just leave the address.

Q - I ordered pink ballet shoes but they are a peach colour.

A - Ballet shoe pink is not ‘baby pink', it is more of a peach colour.  This is the standard traditional colour for ballet shoes.


Q - What colour is kingfisher?

A - Kingfisher is a dark turquoise colour, like the colour of the kingfisher bird.


Q - What colour is peony?

A - Peony is a dark pink/cerise  colour.


Q - What size ballet shoes should I order?

A - Ballet shoes size smaller than normal outdoor shoes.   We recommend ordering 1½ to 2 sizes larger than your normal outdoor shoe size, depending on how snugly you wish them to fit


Q - What size jazz shoes should I order?

A - Jazz shoes size like normal outdoor shoes so you should order your normal shoe size.


Q - What size tap shoes should I order?

A - Tap shoes size like normal outdoor shoes so you should order your normal shoe size.  However, Katz tap shoes are a small fitting so you may wish to order half a size larger than you normal size.


Q - What size heel and toe taps should I order?

A - Please contact us and tell us the make and heel height of you tap shoes e.g. low heel, 2" heel etc and we will advise what size to order.
